Help mijn raceseizoen mogelijk maken! 🏁

Hey allemaal! Ik ben Mathias Ronzani en ik ben gepassioneerd over racen. Dit jaar heb ik de kans om mijn racecarrière naar een hoger niveau te tillen, maar ik heb jullie hulp nodig om dit te realiseren!

Racen is niet alleen mijn passie, het is mijn droom om professioneel te worden. Helaas brengt deze droom ook hoge kosten met zich mee: van inschrijvingsgeld tot onderhoud van de auto. Daarom vraag ik jullie steun.

For one last time this season,
it´s RACE WEEK!

This weekend we take on not 1, but 2 races. Both on saturday and sunday, we will race for 6 hours around the circuit of Croix-En-Ternois.

We showed good pace there last year with a P2 and P5, let´s aim to be a little higher this year.

Magny-Cours, what a weekend!
After a P2 in qualifying, the win seemed like a challenge but not impossible. The entire top 5 could take it.

The race started, in the first stint already it became clear that we would have to manage the engine temperature. It would sometimes become too high, leading to a power loss. This meant that we, the drivers, had to switch the heater to full power. Not ideal, but we managed it anyway.

All 3 of us showed good pace and consistency. We took the lead halfway through the race and never gave it away again. A bit of good luck on our side and some bad luck on the competitor's side meant that we would win the race by 2 laps!

Unfortunately our Laranja 271 suffered an engine failure 15 minutes from the end, but they drove a fantastic race nonetheless. What an achievement from the team!

Spa, we are ready for you!

Can I say it? Can I say it? IT'S RACE WEEK!😁 This weekend we take on the Circuit de Nevers in Magny-Cours for 24 hours of racing.

The goal? Come home with a nice trophy and some lovely champagne.👊

That's it. The 7h of Zolder are over.
@tristanfoldesi put the car in 1st place, so we were very optimistic for the race. All 3 of us showed great speed, we were convinced we could win the race.

@calvin.de.groot took the start and did a solid job staying in the top positions. Things were looking good for us.

Unfortunately, after about an hour an a half Calvin was involved in a collision with a backmarker car. This resulted in a bent steering rod and suspension arm, which our incredible mechanics fixed in 20 minutes. This effectively meant that the win and podium were gone, but we kept going.

I took over the car once repairs were done and ran a faultless stint, trying to be as fast as possible.

After me, Tristan took over and ran an incredibly fast stint, setting crazy fast laptimes throughout his entire stint.

Overall, I think we can conclude that we are more than ready to fight for wins. We just need that extra little bit of luck...

We will debrief, review what happened and prepare as much as we can for the next one.

A massive thanks to everyone in the Oeste Kart team, especially the mechanics, for their incredible performance this weekend. You are all amazing!

I'm happy to say that I will keep racing in our green #276 Oeste Kart car for next season together with @tristanfoldesi and @calvin.de.groot.

2022 was a good learning year, but this year we only have one goal: the championship!

So P5 today after 6 hours of madness in an all-rai

So P5 today after 6 hours of madness in an all-rain day today. We had good to great pace, just a little unlucky with pitstops, safety cars and full course yellow interruptions. But we will remember a good start, fair fights, fastest lap of the race and bringing the car home safely.

P2 yesterday and P5 today, with perhaps potential for even a little more, is a very nice way to wrap up the season! Many thanks to all of you for your support, cheers, kind word. Thank you Oeste Kart , Jo Lambrecht, the entire incredible team for a wonderful racing season!

So, 24 hours of Spa done.

To say that it wasn't the best race we ever had would be an understatement.

We qualified P7 and showed great pace for a potential podium. Tristan proved that by taking P1 after a couple of laps in the race.

But then, after 2 hours, he accidentally misshifted into 2nd and blew up the engine. We all went to work immediately and after 2h30 we were back on track.

The race was over, but at least we could finish it we thought...
That was until the spare engine ran out of oil and died as well.

Now we truly thought it was done, but Calvin wanted none of it and we started working again. We got the engine to run (kind of) so we could at least do 1 lap and finish the race.

Safe to say the engine wasn't happy, it duly blew up again halfway through the final lap.

But with some help from the towing truck, we finished the race!

As a racer, this race was frustrating, but I have to give my massive respect to the mechanics for all the hard work and to the entire team for a super fun weekend.

See you in Croix for the season finale!

The time has come.
The most important week of the season has arrived.

This weekend, we conquer the glorious circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for 24 hours.

I will join the green boys again in the 276 Oeste Kart Verde Citroën C1. Our goal is simple: that top step of the podium.

Portimão, what a weekend I must say.

I joined the boys from car 276 this race as the 4th driver.

We started the weekend in perfect style, Tristan putting the car in pole position and all of us putting strong laptimes in.

We were looking strong for the race. We held the overall lead comfortably for about 16 hours, until the clutch started wearing out badly. For the remaining 8 hours we fought for our lead, desperately trying to keep the clutch alive.

Eventually, in the last two stints, the clutch gave in. Calvin and I had to drive clutchless, leaving me stuck in 3rd gear for the entire last stint.

We unfortunately lost the overall lead in the second last lap, but we won the BE/NL class.

I can only say thank you to Tristan, Calvin and Fabrice and the entire Oeste Kart team for pushing on. What an amazing achievement for us!

Let's keep this pace up for the 24h of Spa in october, we are looking very strong!💪

What a race this was! We started the race in 13th

What a race this was! We started the race in 13th position, but it started raining pretty soon after.
Maarten took the start and fought the first bit of rain.

As I got in, the rain was really pouring down and we spent 45 minutes behind the safety car.

Then I put down the throttle and put the car in P9. It was tricky, but very fun at the same time fighting the car and the conditions.

Yentl went in after and took 8th position, still fighting heavy rain.

Maarten got us op to 7th place, which is where we would finish the race.

A crazy race, that ended with a good result!

Now it's time to reset for the 24 hours of Portimao in July!

Intense weekend! Mathias took the start of the rac

Intense weekend! Mathias took the start of the race in P8, in a hectic start and after a safety car he lost a few positions early in the race. He then droge a very solid stint for over two hours, his team mates did well to keep a solid pace without any errors. Mathias took the last stint, had to take an unexpected extra fueling pitstop and ended P12.

Perhaps not entirely the result we hoped for, but a good first team race!
